Let me Introduce Myself…
My name is Ryan McCune. I am a licensed clinical social worker which one of several types of licensed therapists.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I approach every session with the understanding that we are both human beings working toward a common goal: your health and growth.
My path into this field is deeply personal. Like many others, I have navigated my own struggles with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Through my journey — from childhood and college into adulthood — I have learned that while our experiences are unique; the emotions, frustrations, and triumphs we face are often shared. I’ve seen firsthand how profound the impact of supportive and skilled therapy can be, and that is what drives my work today. Over the course of my career, I have served in a variety of roles that have shaped how I practice. From working as a nonprofit children’s camp director to guest lecturing for master’s social work programs and conducting research at Azusa Pacific University, I have sought to understand how important social connections and emotional well-being can impact lives.
I care deeply about being able to help and therefore created a practice that focuses on providing more time for your care. By intentionally limiting my caseload and creating more space between sessions, I can devote the energy and attention needed to find effective, meaningful steps for your mental health growth. My goal is to maximize the value of your time, which in turn helps save you money on your overall care.
If you are looking for a therapist who is genuinely invested in your journey and rooting for you to reach your natural, healthy self, I would welcome the chance to connect with you.
